Boy these kind are hard to part with but every year, we show case our program by offering our very best females. Out of Come As U R Scream 632D the female we feel is one of the best we have ever raised. Mated with KWA Law Maker 59C we are blown away with the results of this flush. Two flush sister at Millington Ranch that are 2 very impressive females, and a full brother in our bull pen that will sell in our annual bull sale in March. We haven’t seen very many Law Makers that have as much power and muscling that this heifer has, that can still get out and move freely on a perfect foot. We are excited to see what she does for her new owners.

Lot 2

Dam: KRGS Miss Hannah 222Z
VIEW PEDIGREE & EPDs on CSA WEBSITE

We absolutely love our 4F calves, and we feel the 5 we have in the sale are what we’re trying to breed. 10H has been one of the favourites since she was little. Her dam 222Z is one of the few MRL Heritage 131U daughters we have left. When picking sale heifers this is one we said we were keeping as her dam is getting older and we have no daughters off her but somehow she ended up here.

A pretty cool outcrossed pedigree here and incredibly strong numbers across the board. Just a March baby and the youngest heifer in the sale but one we feel has a right to be here. Out of the MRL Miss 555F the female Taylor and I purchased in Mcmillen’s sale last year as our top pick. This heifer has been one of my favourites all summer.

This one is none other than a Riddler going back to our famous 934W donor cow. We have 3 full sisters in our herd who just had their first calves. We sold one to Larry Gordon (Percy View) as a heifer calf, one to Taylor & Kianna last fall as a bred and we kept the other one for ourselves, as we don’t have very many daughters off 934W. This is one you’re going to want to have a serious look at!

A sweet State of War daughter here with a stacked pedigree. This is the first year we had quite a few State of War calves and boy do we ever like them! They come out small but grow like a bad weed. A typical Max daughter here super easy fleshing, big ribbed and setting up a beautiful udder. I purchased her dam in 2016 when I start building my herd from McMillen’s. She was one I didn’t have marked but when she came in the ring and I saw she was a 91Y daughter I asked Kevin if he thought I should take a chance on her. Well she was the best chance I took! She is one of my top producing females. Bred to our newest herd sire MRL Justified 92G on May 9. Maternal sister to KKBS 56H sells as lot 12.

Had this been a live auction, these three Tycoon daughters (Lots 27A, 27B and 28) would have been put in the ring together and we would have sold you choice two out of three. We don’t quite have the same flexibility with an online sale, so I really had to put some thought into how I wanted to structure this opportunity for you. Lot 27A and 27B will sell on choice, and Lot 28 will sell outright.
Lot 27A has a little more hair and is more refined through her shoulder and front third. She is super moderate and soft made, and packs as much depth of rib into her frame as you could hope for. Her udder development is looking on point, so I expect that she has inherited her dam’s excellent udder quality also. She and her gorgeous dam impressed every person who toured our herd this summer and I would say that she was the pick of our entire calf crop with 99% of those visitors. She has been a beauty since the day she was born, a real mini-me of her beautiful dam.
Lot 27B is the performance powerhouse of these three Tycoon daughters. Her dark red pigment is stacked generations deep on both sides of her pedigree; she has impressive depth that she carries flawlessly across her underline, and she is very stout. She is bigger framed and offers more performance than Lot 27A. She is extremely easy fleshing and her udder development also looks very good. Lot 27B’s dam is an excellent cow in our herd, one of our very best honestly. I really can’t say enough good about 9B as a solid producer that raises the great ones year after year, and always weans off a heavyweight. She raised a feature bull that sold in 2018, has a daughter working for Sun Rise Simmentals, and two very promising daughters retained in-herd.
If you think anything like me, you will have a tough decision to make choosing between these two heifers on sale day. I am confident that both of these heifers have the ability to positively influence the future of your program. We will be anxious to see which one the highest bidder selects on sale day and I can tell you that I will miss her dearly, but I will also be happy to retain the other heifer and use her to propel our own program forward. We retain the right to one successful flush in whichever heifer is selected, with a minimum of 6 freezable embryos, at our expense and the buyer’s convenience.

This Sprinkles daughter offers the most femininity and overall extension of the three Tycoon females in this sale. Compared to her flushmate sister Lot 27A, she offers a notch more frame, and more length of body and extension through her front third. Her udder development is looking excellent as well. You couldn’t ask for a more beautiful cow to back this heifer! This is your opportunity to tie into the Sprinkles legacy early on. Rest assured that I will retain more Sprinkles daughters than I will sell, so jump at this opportunity while it presents itself!

RAINBOWRIVER REEBA 39H
HOMO POLLED | HETERO BLACK | OPEN HEIFER
Sire: NGDB Structure 34D
Dam: LRX Red Reeba 41D
VIEW PEDIGREE & EPDs on CSA WEBSITE
This heifer comes from a very strong cow family. Her $26,000 dam is one of our best donors and her granddam is also a top donor for Robb Farms. Reeba's first two natural sons have been sale features and her first son was our $16,250 high seller in 2019 to Pheasantdale Cattle Co. Reeba's first four ET daughters were born in 2020, two of which are in this sale. I expect good things from Reeba's daughters so I am anxious to get the two I'm retaining into production. 39H has her dam’s femininity and massive barrel, and offers the length and frame of her sire. I think you will like her even more in the flesh than in her photo. She has thick, fluffy hair and sets down on a big hoof with extra depth of heel. I expect the udder quality to be very strong in this heifer, it should be locked in by both Reeba and Structure. Her calm and patient disposition that she's inherited from her dam would make her a perfect Junior project. Cow prospect here! Her maternal sister sells as Lot 33.

Another good footed, nice haired, big performance Structure female with all kinds of stretch and good looks. Her dam has been a very fertile and solid producer for us. This heifer was found by visitors more than once this summer. She is sound and moves out effortlessly. I wish she would have stood a little nicer for this photo to show that off better, but you will see her soundness in her video. She does have a notch more birth weight, but she also has the extra length of body to go with it. She ranked second heaviest at weaning with an actual WW on Sept 8 of 824 lbs and was already weighing 938 lbs on Oct 16.

Riddler daughters are known for their nice udders and good milking ability; we are very happy with the Riddler females we have in production. This heifer is mothered by a gorgeous black, blaze faced Poker Face cow. You cannot put a more perfect udder on a cow and she has already passed that udder perfection down to one beautiful daughter that I’ve retained in-herd. 21H has been a favourite of mine since she was born, I loved her length of body coupled with her natural muscling right from a young age. With the production merit of her dam and being backed by the Springcreek Linne 6R and Drake Tula 1R donors, this one has big time cow potential.

This heifer is amongst the first STF Crimson Tide daughters to sell in Canada. His dam is one of the most beautiful donors in the breed and I hope to infuse some of her maternal traits into my program. 6H is puppy dog quiet and likes attention. Her side profile doesn’t show it off very well, but she is a wide topped heifer with nice spring of rib. Her udder development looks good with wide spacing between her teats and she was one of the highest performing heifers this summer, ranking third behind the Lot 30 heifer. Her granddam, Storm 20B, is an excellent Liner 56U female that has blazed her way to the top of our program. 20B is also the granddam of our Lot 36 bred heifer.

This Reeba daughter is sired by the $110,000 high selling bull from Wheatland in 2019. His dam is also the mother of Wheatland Final Affair. A flush brother to 43H will be featured in our 2021 bull sale and I am retaining another flush sister that is like a pea in a pod to 43H. This sister on offer is sound to the ground and offers nice natural muscling. She is wide and square over her hind third and offers nice softness with just enough spring of rib in her middle third. She’s another Reeba female with a good disposition and the foundation set for nice udder development. This one is a bit younger in age but should make a darn good cow. If she turns out anything like her dam, you won’t go wrong with owning a Reeba!

This ET heifer is sired by the $165,000 KWA Law Maker and our $23,000 Erixon Lady 92D donor. The cow family backing Lady is extremely productive and her progeny have been well accepted to date. In our experience, the Law Maker progeny get better and better with age. This heifer is very fresh in her makeup and has been changing before our eyes since weaning. I think she will keep coming on as she develops into a bred and then into a young cow. She is a good footed heifer that is wide topped with nice spring of rib and is very docile. You will like the dimension she has from her front and hind views. She would make a nice Junior or 4-H project.

9G comes to you from one of the longest running and most trusted cow families in our program. Our “Blackie” cow family has been working for us for 14 years, steadily breeding in excellent foot quality, udder structure, easy doing ability, and ideal frame size and body type. Her dam is a moderate framed, hard working young cow with an excellent udder that milks just the right amount. She raised a full brother to 9G this year that stands at the top of our bull pen. 9G’s sire, RF Impact 601C, will go down as one of the best sires that will have ever been used in our program. Our first Impact females entered production in 2020 and I am so pleased with the jobs they did. As a calf, 9G was a stand out and was selected for the 2019 Keystone Konnection Sale, but I refused to part with her. It’s funny how things turn full circle and now here she is! A definite sale feature. She is A.I. bred early to the exciting calving ease bull, Mader Walk This Way. The mark that Walk This Way has made in the Sunny Valley program has been on my radar and I couldn’t wait to breed all of my Impact daughters his way this spring.

With the influence that Impact has made on our program over the last few years, it is only fitting to offer a couple females carrying his exclusive service. 70G comes from our highly productive Storm cow family that originated with a purchase from Spring Creek Simmentals. Her Liner 56U granddam has been a great cow for us and helps to lock the maternal strength into this female. 70G appears to be dropping a nice udder, as expected with her lineage. Her photo does a pretty good job summing up her physical attributes. She is a very easy going female that likes to come over for a scratch every time I’m nearby. Her early service to Impact will be the cherry on top!

61G comes from another cow family that has been producing in our program for a very long time. Udder quality and milking ability come standard with the Dream cow family. The dam of 61G has an absolutely perfect udder, the type that you expect to see on show females. 61G’s granddam is one of my favourite cows in the herd and has raised some excellent cattle over the years, including our high selling bull in 2016 and an impressive Impact bull calf that is on my short list to be retained for our own use. Like the other bred heifers on offer, the udder that is dropping on 61G looks very good, she is very docile and her mating to Impact should result in a very marketable calf.

Sprinkles is a young donor whose legacy is only just beginning, but wow! What a start out of the gate with her wicked good flush to Tycoon! We have many more embryo calves out of Sprinkles coming in 2021 and we are very eager to build our program around her. Her photo speaks volumes and so do her first daughters, Lots 27A and 28. If you visited our herd over the summer you sure would have found her three sons in the bull pasture too. Her early production record is very exciting and her beautiful phenotype coupled with her soundness and excellent udder quality makes her an absolute stunner from every angle. She’s the type of cow that must anchor a new cow family or back your next herd bull. Paying $27,000 for a bred heifer can be an enormous gamble, but Sprinkles is quickly proving that my intuition was right and she has me awfully excited for where she will take our program over the next few years. Due to many requests over the last few months, we have decided to offer these two packages of embryos with no plans to sell any more Sprinkles embryos for the 2021 or 2022 breeding seasons. These embryos are from the last two flushes I performed on Sprinkles prior to breeding her in April, and both flushes were done to some of the most highly sought after sires in the industry in 2020. Please note that Lot 39 was a split flush between Betts and Walk This Way. We tried to lean this flush towards Betts, so if it worked according to plan, there should be more Betts than WTW embryos frozen from this mating, but I can’t guarantee which embryos you will get. Either way, I think all three of these sires should click with Sprinkles!

When I purchased Linette as a $17,000 high seller from the Blacksand Dispersal in 2014, I had no idea how much she was going to transform our program. Linette is a must-see cow in the flesh. She is the definition of body mass in a moderate frame and always looks amazing (even at almost 13 years of age!). She crosses well with any sire I throw at her and consistently stamps her calves with her capacity, huge barrel, width, softness, easy doing ability and udder quality. Her daughters are impressive, easy keeping, excellent producers and year after year most of my best cattle stem from the Linette cow family. Since the spring of 2015 when I flushed Linette for the very first time, she has been successfully flushed 18 times, with a 19th flush currently in the works. She is responsible for 49 registered progeny in the Canadian herd book, as well as a handful of progeny in Australia. My best bred heifer this year is a homo polled, RED Linette granddaughter that I am extremely excited about. The top 3 black open heifers in my replacement pen are also direct Linette daughters. As productive as Linette has been over the years, it is inevitable that at nearly 13 years of age her embryo production is slowing down. We are expecting to have to retire Linette from our donor program in the spring of 2021. If we are lucky enough to have the opportunity to flush her again in 2022, then of course we will try, but we aren’t banking on it. That means that these embryos on offer are the last that I plan to sell from Linette. I have calves on the ground this year from the Milestone flush and wow! What a cross that has proven to be! The one Milestone x Linette daughter I got this year is a gorgeous, homo polled, black baldy that might be the best Linette daughter born to date. On summer pasture tours, she was always the pick of our black heifer calves, and sometimes was the #1 pick of our entire calf crop. That Milestone heifer definitely shows promise to replace her dam in our donor program. There is a video of this heifer posted on the Rainbow River Simmentals Facebook page, CLICK HERE TO WATCH IT. The Denali embryos should result in some fancy bulls and heifers that will be stout topped and carry Linette’s stamp. I’m sure the females will be keepers as a result of stacking the Lima and Heaven Sent donors on top of Linette’s accolades.

Erixon Lady 92D was a $23,000 high seller at Simmsational 2017 and has been a generous embryo producer in our ET program. She is a slightly bigger framed, really long bodied, thick made cow that stands on a very sound set of feet and legs. Customers who have bought Lady embryos from us previously have been very satisfied with her offspring. We have implanted a number of her embryos in our program also, but have had bad luck getting her progeny to production. Just to give a couple examples of our rotten luck, an excellent Denali son of hers had his testicles stepped on two years ago, and last year an awesome Westcott x Lady heifer had her front leg stepped on so high that it could not be casted. Thankfully our customers have had much better luck than I have and their ET calves have been stand outs in their programs! The Westcott x Lady mating seems like a bomb proof cross; our customers absolutely rave about how stout and impressive those calves are, and I know that the one we had was darn good too. One Westcott x Lady open heifer sold earlier in October at the Stars of the Valley Simmental Sale in Ontario and she was the high selling open in that sale, fetching $7000 for Alliance Simmentals. In 2019, our feature fall sale heifer was a Denali x Lady who sold to Labatte Simmentals for $5750. Denali was the $46,000 high seller from Spring Creek in 2018 and he has been held fairly exclusive in Canada. His semen is not available for purchase and you rarely get the chance to buy into Denali sired embryos. These Lady embryos could be big ROI opportunities for you.
